Art workshop was functioning in Oselya in 2008 – 2012. The companion decorated donated plates and made ceramic handiwork. That was activity for companions who had disabilities or some other health problems. Thus they contributed to the development of the community the way they could. Work in the art workshop was also a kind of art therapy for them. In time off, other companions also used to come to the workshop to draw or sculpt together. Olesya Sanotska, who herself was an artist, taught the companions to paint.
The products of art workshop were sold in our charity stores, as well as in souvenir shops in the city of Lviv. On June 3, 2010 in the Museum of Folk Architecture and Rural Life the opening of the exhibition of decorated plates Olena Sukhatska and Roman Paruta was held. Andriy Kurkov organized an exhibition of decorated plates in Kyiv in December 2011. In 2012, the workers and volunteers of art workshops participated in the Easter Festival and, together with other organizations, decorated the trees with painted eggs in the center of the city. Handсrafts of Oselya were sold at the International Emmaus Salon in Paris and at various fairs in Lviv.
