Since 2003  “Oselya” has been organizing a Christmas Eve and Easter breakfast for people in need. We invite people who, due to different life circumstances are not with their families on this day, and have no opportunity to celebrate. These events let about 500 people feel the joy of holidays in a friendly atmosphere.

The purpose of these events is not only to feed the people for whom the festive dishes are luxury, but also to create for them warm and friendly atmosphere. We believe that on such great holidays, nobody should feel deprived and alone. The festive program consists of performances and carols. Youth, parishioners of different churches, and volunteers come together to participate. 

Companions are actively involved in the preparation of the event, they also welcome people at the entrance. Those who at one time were lonely and discarded themselves, understand best how important it is to be together on that day, to feel love and support. 

Local benefactors – entrepreneurs, restaurateurs, companies, church parishes, individuals and organizations are involved in events, provide financial and material assistance.

The first such events were held at the St. George’s Cathedral, later in the Cultural Center “Dozvillya” in Vynnyky, and now in the Lviv Art Palace.
